Dear visitor,
We, Marie-Michelle and Martin Ask, are thrilled to invite you to our cozy apartment in Nerja, Spain. Our love for Spain has led us to fulfill a long-standing dream of owning a place in the enchanting town of Nerja. We can't wait to share this little haven with you, where sun-kissed beaches, charming streets, and vibrant culture await. Let us extend our warmest hospitality and hope that you will fall in love with Nerja, just as we did.

The apartment is located at the top (floor 2 - there is a lift) above the restaurant stairs "Paseo de las palmeras" and Playa Torrceilla beach - two minutes from the city center but still with a balcony and bedroom window facing a peaceful lush garden, and a sea view of the Mediterranean. When you are in the pool area, you have a view of the Mediterranean Sea, Playa del Salón beach and the Balcon de Europa (Europe´s balcony). It is simply Nerja's Best Location - Best Place in Nerja.

The Swedish name for the "Best Place in Nerja" is "Nerjas Bästa Läge", if you go to our Instagram, the name will be in Swedish, but the pictures are non-verbal :)

Pool
The saltwater pool is for the residents and tenants of the house. We have sun loungers that belong to the apartment and that you are welcome to borrow. (Marked with 34)

Catamaran Tours
​
Luxury: Optimist of London II", a catamaran that departs from Puerto Marina del Este. Approx. 30 minutes from our apartment to the east. They have a shuttle. Info and booking

Budget: Catamaran Tours from Torre del Mar, Appox 20 minutes from our apartment to the west. Info and booking
Europe Balcony
Two minutes from the "Best Place in Nerja" is the "Balcón de Europa" - the Balcony of Europe, is undoubtedly one of Nerja's most iconic landmarks and an important symbol of the city. Wonderful view.
Nerja Caves
We recommend a visit to Nerja's caves, Cueva de Nerja. They are impressive! Buses from town or taxis (if you don't rent a car) are the best ways to get there. You can also walk, but it takes approximately 1 hour. Info and booking.
The Beaches of Nerja

Nerja is a town located right by the Mediterranean, so there is "no end" to the Nerja beaches, here are a few of our favorites:
​
Torrecilla beach. A 2 minute walk down Calle Malaga.
Just below the pool area is Playa el Salón – a fine sandy beach that you get to via calle Salón that goes down from the church in the village.
If you want a little more "commerce", more restaurants, jet-skis, banana-boats, etc. - take yourself to Playa Burriana, a 20-30 walk east from the apartment, or take the car.
Playa del Cañuelos in Cala del Cañuelos. By car approx. 20 minutes along the coastal road. You have to park the car up by the road, then there are shuttle buses going down and up from the beach (2€ ToR). From the beach you can then snorkel, among other things. Make sure to book a table in advance at the restaurant "Chiringuito las Piedras".
